Labeling RequirementsContainers used for medical waste must be labeled with either a biohazard symbol or the words "medical waste" or "pathological waste".

Who Can Haul WasteUnder Act 138 and Part 4 of the administrative rules, medical waste must be transported by a registered and permitted transporter.
