Container StandardsContainers must be closable, puncture-resistant, and leak-proof on sides and bottom. They should be constructed of materials that are compatible with the waste and treatment methods.
Who Can Haul WasteOnly companies with a valid permit from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) are authorized to collect, transport, and dispose of biomedical waste.
